A few moments of patience digging out nails without leaving huge divots pays off. Yes, this stool would benefit from two more rails, as others have pointed out. To mount the seat on to the frame, next time try gluing and screwing wood blocks rather than using the L brackets. Overall a nice result, a usable piece of furniture. Thank you.

Yes especially with running your hands over the moving blade on that jointer planer. Scared me half to death. They have pads you can use to keep your hands away from the piece your are working on. Please be careful!

I think it is because the cold, damp climate in subtropic areas makes the wood move and crack if nails are used, but it probably work in a more uniform climate, however, with modern glue i don't think it realy matter anymore.
