These are the cars i grew up in in the 80s and 90s. Super simple to maintain you could do it with a hammer and string and bulletproof reliable. They had low power but zilikanyanga all the milima in Kenya no problem kwa matope au vumbi they were great. People who never experienced them are missing out. There was the Datsun 1200 pick up, Datsun 1200 saloon and the everlasting Datsun 120y. My uncle still has his he bought in 1992 na bado inasukuma Eldoret to Nairobi and back no problem. The bigger Datsun 1600 pickup and the sporty Datsun1600sss., the 160B and 160J. Those were the days when Datsun/Nissan was king. Hizi za siku hizi, from like 2002 ni mikebe tu.

Had one in 1994. Bought it at 360k used it for four years and sold it at 390k.Fit alloy rims. Use bars at rear and on the bar mount the spare wheel. The car will look unique. Wish u the best.
