Quick tip Erick, to easily get the exact fit and minimize material wastage. Use a stiff carton or cardboard to first fit. With this you can cut and match with a blade then get a very good exact template for the final cutout from the sheets.

some advice: Safety first..... Please make sure your personnel wear dust masks when doing jobs like stripping paints using flap discs on the grinder making fine dust blowing allover the place and inhaling the dust. This will also apply to the painting stage. One of the reasons our jua kali artisans don't live long is because of occupational hazards brought about by lung damage. The other thing that cuts their lives short is physical injuries occasioned by accidents as a result of machines. At the very least, they lose limps, hands if not fingers and even eyes. An cutting disc once chopped off my cousin's finger after it flew off the angle grinder and almost landed on his forehead. Always make sure they wear gloves and eye protecting goggles when using these machines. The welder should also have appropriate eye wear and gloves. Secondly, this time not about safety. Try procure a mig welder for your next build. Gas welding has been proven to warp sheet metal and thus not recommended for car work these days. Otherwise I'm loving your channel more and more now that you are also doing restorations apart from car reviews. Good work.

I would suggest welding some cross bracing on the door openings and the and joining both sides with interior bracing to form like a roll cage in the cab of the car before cutting out the floors and running boards to keep the whole car from twisting when removed and everything square during welding.
Good work Erick sasa tafutia hizi raia gloves helmet and industrial boots it will also add value.
