excellent.in the 70's i used to work in a factory building the petrol/diesel engined version of these compactor/vibrating plates.they were called "WARSOP"

The only valuable part in this device is the motor, which retail price is $ 60 and wholesale is $ 40. This engine is so cheap that it is not worth taking it to the service, even for replacing the bearings. In addition, the motor in this device is already heavily used, looking at the condition of the junction box. The fact that it works should be considered as a miracle. And now, how much will you take from the customer for repairing the device, almost all filled with concrete, where you have to replace the whole structure, with unknown technical condition of the engine, knowing that a new small cheap compactor made in China with a much better vibrator, with an internal combustion engine, costs $ 250?

obviously its a repair job driven by need, not by a whim for fun. sometimes it is not possible to buy. I've seen countries where people dig out tires from the desert and patch them up because new tires were simply not available.
