Restoration work on the territory of Krustpils Castle. The fountain ⛲ is working again!

Video chronicle. Summer 2020, July. On the territory of Krustpils Castle, where the local historical museum is now located, construction and restoration work is underway. The red brick extension, which was built in Soviet times and was part of the headquarters of the Soviet army, was demolished. The fountain started operating again, which existed here even when its owners, the family of barons von Korf, lived in the castle. In Soviet times, the fountain did not work, later it was completely removed, and now it is functioning again! There is one difference: although the old fountain had exactly the same shape, it was multi-colored, and the new one was painted black.
