In the Third World it is dare to repair! You have to extend/squeeze the life out of everything. Remember to replace that truck it is likely that you have to import a truck with foreign currency that is hard to come by. Also, as we look at these videos with First World eyes, remember that safety has a cost that will not be obliged unless legislated. Least cost is what rules the roost in those parts!

I was told, you never weld on a heavy truck frame. Heavy truck frame rails are made from high carbon steel, and welding on them will cause cracks to form overtime. That's why EVERYTHING on a truck frame, is RIVETED, or BOLTED together. I am impressed by the workmanship, and skill in those conditions. good job!
