This is, at best, a rattle can repaint and, at worst, a standoff or stand well off restoration. When you get close, you can see that the metal surfaces were not properly prepared for paint. The bike itself is not particularly old, that's why the rubber and plastic components are not all that degraded. I suspect it was sprayed with some kind of corrosive liquid, perhaps salt water. Left out in the weather for a couple of years. The fork stanchions were not corroded at all. No seals, bearings, or engine components wear replaced. I did a little research on Euro motorcycles and discovered that they are manufactured in the Philippines and are currently available new today . The fit and finish appear to fall somewhere between the Chinese manufactured motorcycles and the Japanese in quality . 175 cc is bigger than Chinese bikes ( most Chinese bikes are 125cc only, police models are 150cc). The most conserning is the quality of the welding on the frame. The location of the foot controls are not well tucked in making them prone to receiving damage. After examining the current production Euro motorcycle, I would consider them a good low-cost alternative if support is available in your country.

Un detalle el bendix de arranque no necesita desarmar si no está dañado puedes sacarlo con todo el volante y la corona de arranque. Exelente restauración . 👏👏👏👍👍👍

I've been trying to get details on the make and model of the motorcycle. The first thing I noticed was the Yamaha ignition key. But the engine is a single cylinder pushrod 2 OHV dual exhaust port ~~250-350cc. Royal Enfield of India used those engines for a long time. But the closest I've found is maybe a '90s cruiser style Thunderbird. Still don't know. Thanks for the show!

Buy fairly recent Chinese retro-style bike, cheaply. Cover with oil and dirt. Leave outside for a few weeks under a bush. Pretend to find the 'forgotten, classic, Euro' bike, then restore it. Rinse and repeat.
