love the Vironika Tugaleva quote you referenced so much i looked it up: "A leaf does not resist the breeze. A goose does not resist the urge to fly down south. Is this not happiness? Is this not freedom? To access this incredible state, we need only one thing: Trust. Trust that, when you are not holding yourself together so tightly, you will not fall apart. Trust that it is more important to fulfill your authentic desires than listen to your fears. Trust that your intuition is leading you somewhere. Trust that the flow of life contains you, is bigger than you, and will take care of you - if you let it.” Namaste

I have cfs and for a long time could find very few yoga videos I could actually do, even those made for cfs were often too strenuous and fatiguing for me. Then I found your restorative videos with all the cushions, bolsters and blankets and found i could manage that. Over 18 months I've been able to progress and now do some of your gentle stretch videos. I wasnt having a great day yesterday and came back to this restorative video which was just what i needed. Im do glad to have found yoga at a level I could engage in and so pleased to have progressed. Thank you for your channel and all your work, its made such a difference to me. x

I have anxiety and panic that seem physiological and also triggered by thoughts, and this really helped decrease my body sensations. ❤️

Started my morning with a panic attack. I nearly called out of work and was going to lay in bed all day. This really helped me refocus my energy and calm down. I didn't stop sobbing until about halfway through, but I finally got there. Thank you so much for this. Simple, gentle, and relaxing.

Thank you for this. Struggling with panic and anxiety due to my first time on stimulant medication for my adhd. I felt my whole body release especially on the chest opening poses. Thank you once again 🙏🏼

This was such a wonderful simple practice. As someone who has CFS and was in the midst of an anxiety fueled crash, this settled me and calmed me in a way nothing else had been able to today. I only wish I had found it this morning! Thank you

I’m working on gratitude so thank you for taking the time to make this. I’m thinking of sending light to my new nephew while doing this. My anxiety seems to have taken away my ability to be grateful or spread joy and love to others. I’m trying to cultivate it back into my life.

awesome sequence, thanks. sometimes less... is more. the references to feeling the breathing, and to allow for relaxation are very powerful and empowering. it can be an ongoing process, too, i would reckon. i love the question who is breathing me? (or who am i breathing?). Om.

Thank you for this video! Please do more like this!! Also, where did you get the bolster and do u recommend any?
@maliayoga28798 жыл бұрын
Vanessa Almanza yes! I'm planning on filming another restorative class soon. Yoga bolsters can get pretty expensive, so that's why I just use a body pillow at home. In the studio we use Manduka brand, and hugger mugger is also a good one. You can find them on Amazon!

This was a beautiful and relaxing sequence. You have a lovely and very sweet voice but unfortunately the volume could be much louder, I had a very hard time to understand you.
