Works great on minis, plastic and metal can be left in it for a week no problem. Finecast resin does go floppy if you leave it that long.

I too have tried using isopropyl alcohol and >eek< acetone to clean my mats, but thought that paint stripper would be too harsh. This is flipping amazing! 🤯

That is beautiful! I have made the mistake of sticking ISO or acetone before and had a little teary moment when I saw I was wiping my grid away from the mat. Lovely little tip this mate. Smashing.

I actually picked this stuff up on a bit of a whim and was really pleased with the results on my minis, didn't even occur to me to clean my matts with it though, my eyes have been opened.

Simple Green is another great product to clean and remove paint, from both surfaces and miniatures. It's what I use by default.

This is my go to stripper for all minis now, with accertone to melt super glue and welded on stuff on metals it is great stuff.

Shop maintenance and organization is a large part of being efficient and safe. If your bench is a disaster you will be less likely to do top quality work .... keeping bad habits in the long term will wear you and your hobby down til its just not enjoyable .... and eventually one may just quit.

I've used Wilko's paint stripper before to strip metal miniatures it's good stuff not harsh at all, I've been wondering if it will strip miniatures of resin or plastic without damage.

I use Biostrip 20 for the same job which is obviously not as cost effective but it works almost instantly. I will certainly switch to Wilkos brand mind you. Definitely do more quick tip style videos!

Since nitomors paint stipper went limp and isn't as good as it used to be we often use wilkos own, it's nice stuff

Absolutely want to see the mini striping method! I personally dislike the Vallejo pre applied primer, and it's a pain in the ass.

That's why I use a wet box/wet board or whatever else you want to call it when I pant. Also you could get a roll of clear floor mat and cut a piece that fits on top of your mat that way it gets messy and your mat stays clean. Easy to clean and or move when you need your cutting mat. Just don't cut on it or you will have cut lines all over it and it looks like junk.
