This was truly satisfying beyond words to watch. I also appreciate that you kept the paint chips how they were I actually think that's pretty cool as I think it adds character to the guitar. It wouldn't have had the same soul if you had repainted it. Also, excellent playing at the end!! Thank you for breathing life back into this guitar! 🙏 ♡♡♡

It was an RG570 for me (the one without the pickguard). As luck would have it, came across an RG655 a couple of years ago (basically an RG550 but with upgraded DiMarzio pickups and an All-Access Neck Joint). Jumped on that and I've been a happy camper ever since.

@@hollyc5417 Actually, for that price, you won't even buy an rg 350. If you look on ebay or reverb you won't find that many of them, and the price is around 600-700. I got a '94 model in november, for 500 bucks, and it wasn't even in great conditions. This, at least, is the situation of the european market. Maybe you can get one for that price in Japan, but you'll have to be very, very lucky.

My first “real” guitar was a 1989 Ibanez RG 550. I lived in England and ordered from Sam Ash in NYC . This was before the internet.
