They now own GP18 #904. They originally intended to use #904 as a parts source for their F7s and GP9 but they decided to work with New Hampshire Northcoast to repair and restore #904 and maybe have it join their fleet

Gorgeous!!! Love high nose anything... Great to see another one restored and not given the "nose chop". Far too many of those out there. Spent a day out on the Housatonic in the cab with my son. While I get the thought process on low nose locomotives. We did a lot of running in reverse, with that long high hood out front. Didn't seem to be a problem for the crew. Nice catch. They did a great job restoring that Geep.

Wow. I was on this trip through the mountains on CSR a few weeks ago. I saw the F7A/B units at the station, but didn't see the GP9. They must have still been working on it. This would have been a cool trip to be on.

It does look nice! Sure beats the hell out of sewer GTI G GRS ST PAN AM paint!! Then an engine with no paint looks better then Mellon's sucky paint job!! I remember while working for the B&M in the early 70's as a trainman/brakeman I had worked on those 3 engines alot. Plus others of course! Great job for all who were involved!! Nice to see them running etc etc.

Does the caboose match the engine or the engine match the buggie? How much power do they need up there lol. My brother has a place up there, I'll have to swing over there and check it out. Looks like they are doing good.

All the "shutter clicking" is ridiculous considering that digital cameras don't have shutters, so why must they "click" for no reason???

All the DSLRs I’ve ever used have shutter clicks so you must not be familiar with cameras
