Why not sand blast, turn a fresh lip and powder coat? Would've been far less labour intensive, cheaper and more durable. Plus, see that small circle on the tyre sidewall? This is unfortunately a myth. I've been working in the car industry for over 10 years and the round markers on the tires, (usually Yellow, White or Red) is only storage information to the factory where they produce the tires and has nothing to do with weight. :)

Flg5s baby!! Someone else watches the gunman. Anyway, the results were good, but you went about the job the hardest way possible. Especially on mesh wheels. I wouldn't be able to sell the job for a reasonable price with the time u spent. Next time, disassemble, degrease, sand blast, create a custom filler spreader using a nice section of a wheel lip using an exacto knife and slowly shaping it to contour around the outer bead down to almost the spokes. That will take about 30 minutes but make the lip filling process much easier. Do the filling, sand with 80 then 180, epoxy prime 2 coats, straight on with base & clear. Side note, turn that pressure down man. It sounds like 35 psi, maybe even 40. That gun is mint 20-25psi 1.5 turns in from where the handle starts moving. 2 in for clear if you really are afraid of runs. I have 5 years experience with the flg5. I own 4 now, and ive painted all kinds of cars and colors with em. Best gun ever. Everything else is overpriced in my book. Keep em comin. Subbed.
