Speaking of which, I thought the add-on little circuit board only needed to stay on temporarily, in order to fool the iPhone it’s a genuine battery, and possibly to reset the cycle count to zero using the battery programmer. At least that’s what I seem to remember watching other repair videos. Or is that model-dependent too, and Apple cracked down on this yet again, forcing the dongle to stay on? 😢

@RestoreTechnique you dont have to reprogramm the battery on the pc. after you installed the bypass tool on the battery you have to start the phone with the charger. then it will show 100%. greetings!

I think you should have bought a case with the small parts included, and it was unnecessary to replace the battery. This would have saved a lot of time and some money. Making it more worth your time. However I am glad to see the replacement of these parts in the video.

The original battery is smaller for a reason. The battery expand after a few years a few milimiters. This new battery is quite dangerous if you ask me...

u just use soldering iron to desolder and resolder battery from one bms bord to other it's much safer and easier also cheaper
