What a beautiful and perfect car. Yeah… It's not a high performance unit but I don't care. It looks new, drives and stops BETTER than new, doesn't rattle or clank… Perfect… Just perfect!!!

Great video Kevin- keep them coming. I always liked the Cutlass and I appreciate putting cars back to factory specs with slight improvements to bring them up to modern standards. Thanks again.

Thank you! This car was a great candidate for the subtle improvements we made without detracting from its character. Thanks again!

Awesome resto on this Cutlass! I also own a '71 Cutlass and love it! It's a Holiday Coupe with the same paint color, dark green vinyl roof and green bench seat interior. Body is all original with zero rust and mechanically maintained and repaired as needed but is all stock. Thanks for sharing!

I have 2 classic cars I wish to restore. A 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Coupé and a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Hardtop Coupé. The Lincoln is my floaty luxury cruiser but the Cutlass is meant to be my high-performance muscle machine. I can’t wait to bring my 2 babies to my own personal vision one day.

Sounds like a great pair of projects!

@@MuscleCarOfTheWeek Only the C6 automatic transmission would stay with the Lincoln during its restoration. It’s got a 400M engine in it but I wish to replace it with a custom-built fine-turned smooth-running BBF 460, my favorite big block Ford engine ever. For the Cutlass, I wanna build it into a full-on factory-style sleeper muscle car. A custom-built BBO 455 and a TH400 automatic would be the must-have drivetrain for the Cutlass. The body style of the Supreme with the attitude of a 442 would be my dream muscle car. The Continental is my favorite luxury car and Cutlass is my favorite of the muscle cars. I’m blessed to have both and can’t wait to get them both in show quality shape. Maybe you dudes could help me get them there! I need a good shop to help me bring my babies to my vision!

Top notch cars. GMs finer creations for sure. All the A bodies were. But these were the best of the Abodies. I am an Olds man but even if i wasnt i would still love these.

Finishing a frame-on driver 72 Cutlass resto. How did you get the hood to line up in front? Almost never seen one with the hood aligned with the front clip. I would have stuck with the gold paint on the motor. What does that second hose coming out of the coolant reservoir go? I’ve replaced the drive shaft, away bars, most of the suspension and the car still vibrates at hwy speed.
