Don’t forget they are in the midst of renovation also, so along with family privacy and the construction noise, it would be hard to have guests listening to renovations. like the other person stated perhaps down the road they will restore a building. But this young family needs their space and privacy. Perhaps you could just take a trip to France for your birthday and be happy with that gesture. This family wants to finish their renovations and involve us in their journey. Guests would be in the way of dong so.

I’ve done heaps of wallpapering, & just adding to your vlog what I do! Before papering I size the walls with diluted wallpaper paste, let it dry thoroughly! This helps the paper to stick & slide giving time to adjust it. I always start at the window so the joins are less noticeable because the light can cast a shadow if you don’t! Anna. Stunning. Just absolutely stunning. Truly. I don't stroke egos or give compliments for no reason, and if I think it looks amazing, I'll say it! That wallpaper job looks BEAUTIFUL. And when you got out the supplies to do a wallpaper tutorial, I even told my partner and I paid attention. Because I knew it was something I could probably do, just hadn't gotten around to youtubing it. Now I'm confident I can and I'm already picturing your buttery butterscotch wallpaper in our guest bedroom remodel in a couple years. We still have our original unpainted wood molding that I think the butterscotch color would go great with for a semi-moody but still bright effect. So make sure you're still producing the paper by then! The whole wallpaper products + wallpaper application tutorial is the right combo. Bravo Anna! And Phillip, the electrical work is alright. It'll pass. A for effort 😆

Beautiful! Beautiful! Congratulations again, Anna! On another note, for anyone interested, some people like to paint a stripe, where two pieces meet, the same color of the wallpaper's background color so that if/when it shrinks, it's less noticeable than a white line running between.

This is such a great demonstration of how organic patterns compliment and lift interiors with lots of straight angles, panelling etc. Because it counteracts those severe lines, it gives the room a literal lift, lightness, and gradients where there was stark contrast before. The space really did transform beautifully with this paper. So much work going into those art prints, how lovely. Floors are usually a heavy and boring job, and that was alot of floor sanded in one video, massive work you two have done in very little time. I'm sure it will be entirely transformative for you, to finally move into your finished rooms, and out of the pension propriétaire flat, to this gorgeous suite befitting châtelains and designers. I'm glad to hear the company of that stain are willing to help out to fix the mishap with the commode. That's a rare occurence, they must be worried about your influence! Haha Anna reading that script though... 🤣

Congratulations on (almost) finishing the room, it looks fantastic! Beware, a sappy message ahead: You two (four) are such an inspiration, your videos always motivate me to work harder on my passions and that it can be possible to realize your dreams, and that, most importantly, dreams can indeed change! I've been working as costume and stage designer in theatre for the past 15 years, and while I still love it, the long hours and being away from home, family and friends have made me doubt whether I want to continue on this path, or look for something new. But a career change is always scary, and I cannot imagine working in anything that won't allow me to be creative and frankly, I don't know if I would even be good at anything else. But seeing the two of you break away from your successful careers, yet turning them into something entirely new, while returning to your roots in videography, art and design, gives me hope. That perhaps one day I'll find a new dream to aspire to, one that will allow me to make the most of the talents I've honed in all those years of sleepless nights, and that once more I can happily use my creativity as an outlet. That said, thank you again for your wonderful content that keeps inspiring so many of us. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the beautiful vanity could be saved, and Phillip keeps his head ;)
