Using a heat gun on the seatbelts will make them look so much better, you can also use a lighter (pocket one) to melt down the fluff. Works on other plastics as well, just make sure you apply the heat even). I hope you put in new fender liners! Keep up the good budget work 👍

My bumper was 800 alone💀 Edit: let’s be clear. When a good shop does a SINGLE part they don’t just do a single part technically. When you get a part painted with a brand new paint job it will look different then your old paint. So they have to fade another part into the same color so it doesn’t look mismatched. Plus when you drop off your car they charge you for installation and the extra prep work. So when I say alone I mean they did a part and what comes with that. I got the bumper painted. Not a bumper and fender and door. The fading is included at most any shop. That’s why you see people with the weird color fender or something because they are cheap and exclusively get just a SINGLE part and don’t do any matching.

@@whatn1qqa35 I mean widebody boosted stang. He had to fade into the fenders and widebody flares then the bumper was kinda beat so he worked some magic. Plus the installation and all that. Also he’s a 5 star shop and got me in and finished in less then a week. So either mind your business or quit being slow.

So it wasn’t the bumper alone lol, sounds like you brought a body shop your bumper and they sprayed it, they blended color into your fenders so it was a bumper and 2 fenders… that’s a good price lol

@@absentstars474 yes to send my car to the shop. Have them paint it properly to fit in with the rest of the car and have it return back in proper condition yes it was 800 for the one part. Let’s say I got the fender done they will automatically charge to fade the part into the hood door and bumper. But he asked why it costed so much. Slow it’s just how it works. I didn’t pay for any other part then just that.

This was my first car basically. 1999 Honda civic EX 2 door coupe, white, with the sunroof. I miss that car so much, bought it at 18, (6-7 years ago) with 150k miles on it I put about 20k miles on it. Definitely well worth the $1200 I spent back then for it. Head gasket was blown and engine burned oil but that thing got me around everywhere I needed to go. Love these old civics thanks for the great content.

I feel like a younger you! My first car is my 2000 honda civic ex 2 door and mine is also white with a sunroof. I've had it for a couple years now (I'm 19) and I engine swapped it a year ago to a GSR motor and its a manual. I love this car so much because they look so cool and the engines can run forever.

Bought a 2000 White EX brand new, was the best car EVER! My niece hit a tree and totalled it in 2012 it was a sad sad day!😭

@@dimondfart39 keep an eye on the coolant. Mine blew the head gasket as I stated. I bought it that way though. So always make sure it’s full. I also had an oil burning engine which is common on these. Keep an eye on the oil level and change it every 3k miles if it’s not already burning oil then props to you. Keep up on fluid changes.

Same here. Absolutely love EK and EG Civics. I have a '98 Prelude with the H22A and full bolt-ons @ 86K original Miles and I'm looking to trade even up for a clean two-door or hatch. They're hard to find rust-free around here.

Have you considered reinstalling an OEM steering wheel? I know you replaced the missing bolt to the aftermarket one, but it may be better to have the original one because it has the airbag in it. Just a suggestion. Great work guys!

Man , this car really needs some EM1 2000 Civic Si wheels with fresh rubber. Then i'd pick up a 2000 Si grill and front lip and have them paint matched by your painter with that same paint code.

Alright, you made the comment about a $900 dollar macco paint job, by saying you get what you pay for, well I beg to differ, if a auto paint shop calls themselves a paint shop,then do what your shop is for,which is to paint. Regardless if it's a $900 dollar paint job or a $9000 paint job. The finished work should be flawless, regardless of the price.

@@calid6960 There's budgets and levels to any service work and the price typically coincides. If you own a BMW that needs serviced you can take it to a shade tree mechanic or European Auto Service Shop. Both may be able to fix the car but you can guess on which one will have the better repair quality, service, and resources to do the job exceptionally. As a result, the price will be reflective.

Maaco will do the job for a quick respray but If I want something custom and I know it'll look flawless, I would bring it to my friend's shop and it will not be Maaco prices...lol
