It turned out really great. The question I have is probably redundant because you have already dyed it, but did you wash it first? If not, would you recommend this to get rid of old sweat stains, or are they too ingrained in the hat? Thanks for sharing.

I washed it under the tap the night before but it probably would be worth chucking it in the wash if you wanted to! I’d only be worried that could make it crinkle more - getting a hat cage for washing could be a good idea!! 😁 👊 Cheers Chris!!

You've convinced me to do this myself. I have a cap that says Wimbledon and it has perspiration stains all over. Does the cap fade in the sun with the new look?

Looks good for now. Rit turns purple in about 2 days. You should get some nice colors on you head as you sweat.
