Restoring A Hand Plane | FastFIX

Restoration of very cheap hand planers. I bought it at the flea market for only 2 euros. For such an old, cheap and used tool this one is in good condition and certainly worth buying. I decided to do a restoration in the hope that it will serve me for a long time. I have a few hand planers in my workshop, so I will increase my collection with this one.

Very nice job sir! That was a good way to reshape the damaged handle and it still looks like the way it was made. Really cuts nicely. Was that a Russian made tool? Keep up the good work!👍🎥

God bless you. I figured it was best to do the handle that way, the simplest way and the handle stays the old one. I don't have to change it or make it again. Yes, it's an old USSR planer. You know the situation in the world, so I didn't want to state the country of origin. Not in the title, description or the video itself.
