Another great video Joe!!! When you were driving the ol T-34 into your dads shed, I couldn’t stop thinking of an ol dog I had who dragged his mangled body home for repair after a night out with the coyotes. He knew I’d mend him back to health cause I loved him, and home is were he needed to be. Fricken dog was tough as nails. I’m thinking the universe delivered that ol T-34 to your doorstep cause it deserved better, and you were designated to do the mending. That tank and my dog have a lot in common. Great to see it clawing back to life. I've put four rods through a pan, blueing the crank and cam, and breaking a cylinder wall, but I still had something to work with. Your crank and block made me sick. So glad your mate came through.

There is a bit to do on this T-34/85 but you can see that you guys are already doing a great job. I really hope you or whoever fix properly the engine and other things. Am really looking forward to see this tank on the road 👍👍👍

It was designed that way on purpose, with the most tolerances in it's build for the mass scalability of it's production. Hence why it was the most produced tank of the WW2.

Some of them earlier ones were shocking. Just about 3/4 of the welding joints has failed 🤦🏻♂️ and the gearboxes used to shit them selfs. But there still a great bit of kit and history. Keep up the good content lads 👍🏻

I can't imagine the cost for custom made seals. I fully understand the need for having several projects going at once, parts supply for old/obsolete vehicles being hit or miss at best. I have that issue on a much smaller scale with automotive parts.
