In this video I take and old Genesis 1000 gas grill from the late 80's/Early 90's and restore it. I hesitate to say I restored it because I did not make it exactly how it was out of the box. For instance the two beams that run across the bottom of the frame were missing or rusted beyond repair. Instead of finding new metal beams, I just used wood.
I had planned on trying to sell the grill to see how much profit I could make, but I opted to give it to my dad for Father's Day (that way I can use it when I go visit.)
