I have an AGM., 3470, but it's the civilian model and the colour of the tank and the hood is Burgundy, it's in working order and it can be viewed in the AGM., gallery on the Classic Pressure Lamps forum, I use a more bulbous shaped mantle because those form closer to the vapouriser/generator and keep it hotter so that the paraffin/kerosene vapourises properly and therefor the light is bright, the heat from the bulbous mantle really helps when the lantern is being used in a cold shed or outside.

Great job on the restore job. I'm thinking that generator looks a lot like the 249 generators.

Hey thanks for your reply to me on your other video. I deleted my comment before I saw your response because I found this vid and it answered my question.

Hello! I just bought a 5423A for $5 that is missing it's hose. Would you happen to know how old it is and where I could find a hose? Thanks. James

I don't know much about Coleman's propane products a they're not very collectible. Googling that model turns up dates from the early 90s to early 2000s. I don't think they sell the same type of flexible hose and regulator, but it appears the "universal" regulators currently sold should fit. At any rate, the ones currently on Amazon show 5423 on their compatibility list.

@@king.coleman ok thanks. I didn't even open it up until I got home and was so confused about why there wasn't a tank. 😂 I didn't know they made propane stoves in the boxy style. Love your channel.
