Thanks for the entertainment and inspiration. I'm only in my lower 40s and love these old tv's and radios. Sure would love to learn more old tricks of the trade from someone like you. I never thought I would see another unique individual like you, like myself were this stuff comes as common since. I'm very impressed with your tube making videos. I hope you have more videos coming soon and are doing well!!! I truely believe there are not many people that know basic electronics left in the US especially younger. I'm in Alabama wish I were near Houston. Thanks Greg

Tower Castle Cone speaker made by Tower Manufacturing Corp. of Boston , MA. I encourage you to look up more info on it and two other types like it as it is very rare to even see a complete one. Seen one without the upper circle part and was sold as a doorstop of all things. Fun piece to see painted and is a great restore job. So Ron will do the ship called the Adventurer next. Cool stuff Ron.

This reminds me of a family story, my grandfather paid attention to something his brother said about how television would be a thing. So my grandfather was the first one to buy a television in the town of Fresno. I swear Fresno used to be a lot better than it is now. Anyway, his brother was fascinated by all of this well before it ever happened. Sadly my grandfather's brother died of syphilis and horrible agonizing pain. The era before antibiotics might seem kind of perfect to a lot of people, but remember just what those people's lives were like

My fiancé and I love your videos! It’s great to have a person to watch who’s not only into these old radios and televisions but is also trans! Too many people into this hobby are off putting especially to queer people, I guess it’s probably got something to do with how bitter and macho they act but it is hard to place. We really appreciate you Rhonda 💞 much love hope you’re well. -Colfax & Elliott

Ron, What weight of paper or card stock are you using for the cone? The original Tower Castle Cone Speakers had no color to the metal and the speaker cord went through a small grommet in the cone near the bottom. Interesting and creative modification you've done.
