Restoring an Old Neglected Bald Cypress Bonsai - ASMR

I dabble in a lot of things and in my first venture into Bonsai on KZbin I restore my very neglected Bald Cypress named "Pharaoh" after my late great Dane.

Deadwood is either a love or hate. I may carve it later down the road but for now I like it.

Looking great ! Is regular bonsai soil to dry for this species?

It all depends on your watering schedule - I use a heavy organic soil so it stays moist all day. Some people put them in a tub of water as they can grow in water in nature.
