Man I can't imagine trying to fit a bunch of Felder machines in my garage!😂 my machines aren't near as big and my two car garage is full enough to where everything has to be on casters. Congrats on the new saw buddy! I bet it's gonna be great to have

I feel you, but if you look back a year ago, I had a bunch of those machines in my 2 car garage!

@@pkwoodworking oh I'm sure. And I'd love to have that "problem" too😁 we all end up there though. Just takes time. I'm upgrading all my machines soon to so we'll see how that goes

The slider sounds like the bearing cage, bearings, and ways need to be thoroughly cleaned.

That sounds like a fun job! - David, Thanks for the tips on how to clean the Bearings. The process was simple and the slider does sound better and rolls smoother! I am going to use your methods to dial in the slider this weekend!

So remind us why you sold the saw in the first place? Why the downgrade?

Shrinkflation!!! I ordered a new saw that will hopefully arrive in January, so i need a saw in the meantime.

What’s the new saw going to be? I’m just plunked down for a 9’ KF700SP. It’s going to dominate my 500sq.ft. shop - but I’m hoping to recoup some space by ditching the router table and Kapex. Time will tell if that’s workable

You have arranged your shop very well and have fitted in some decent machinery. Can I ask what size is the shop - I'm currently trying to juggle the space in my 700 sq ft to fit more in 😢. Cheers

990 sqft outside, 924 sqft inside, 870 sqft if you take out the bathroom. I'm starting to think about moving the dust collector and air compressor outside at some point at the back of the shop where I had them pour a pad.

@@pkwoodworking I think I'm the sort of person who would rather have a 2000sqft house and a 4000sqft workshop. Inverted priorities I know 🤪
