Restoring My Grandpa's 1962 Honda C110

Just so you know, if you would be okay painting the engine cases and covers, Duplicolor's engine paint line, includes #1615, which is a silver color that matches Honda's Cloud Silver almost perfectly. Shoot some of their clear over it, and it'll look great! I have a '67 C110 down here in Phoenix.

Great video! Mine (my 1st "bike", a 1963) also has the kick start spindle spline end sheared off. I had like that since purchase date. I always had t opush start it, which was super easy

@@DJAA732 In fact, I've read it's a common issue, but I think if one takes that into account when kick starting, prevents from jamming the kick starter down, which I think is what leads to it breaking. Cheers

Just do a push start, that should be cake to push start. that way you ca preserve the kick.

I probably will most the time. That or just be super careful whenever using the kick start

Weld it and then machine it to the tolerances.
