Nice work, can't wait to see it as you describe, once you get all the parts in. Looked like you had your celebratory beer, after a successful test run!

Can you share with me the wiring schematic? I’m restoring a like model and I did not take good notes regarding the wiring. I took photos, but I missed some of the details. Thanks.

I’m glad to help, if your Hunter Original has a capacitor inside the switch housing (which is the 1.1 amp motor) the notes I took down will help you, I’ll copy them here

@@Thanson199415 yes, Mine looks just like yours, but I think it is a 1982 model. It does have the yellow capacitor. I really appreciate your help, thanks.

@@kg1966 ok 👍 if it has the yellow capacitor in the switch housing, it’s the 1.1 amp motor and Hunter started production of the 1.1 amp motors in 1985. Before 1985 were the 2.5 amp motors without the capacitor

@@Thanson199415 Tyler, thank you so much. I’m restoring 8 of these. One like yours and 7 that are older with no capacitor. They have blades that you push in and twist to change air flow direction.

Hello, I am restoring the same type fan. I was wondering how you removed the plaque/plate on the side in order to paint the housing?
@Thanson1994153 ай бұрын
@@davidpound3106 I just did a light sanding to smooth the imperfections and spray painted it white with Rustoleum. It came out way too good.
