Iv'e got a plain ol 1.6 focus and its interesting watching this series to see what is different and the same between the two models. Dropped the rear subframe to replace all the arms and had a hell of a time too. This was on the drive which didn't help, had to chop all the old bolts off with grinder as all the bushes had siezed. Had same issue too lining up the trailing arms after pressing the new bushes in, ended up using a ratchet strap from the from subframe to pull the arm forward enough. Real PITA! Good series of videos, never owned a fast ford (or fast anything for that matter). After watching so far i think it'll stay that way!

As I mentioned in the previous video. At 146,000 miles it’s not the right car to be doing a full nut and bolt restoration. We’ve done the best with what we had without spending way more money than the cars worth. I never claimed it was perfect but it’s definitely miles better 👍🏼

Your doing a great job with the cars. 1 thing to mention though is the front wheel bearings on a focus have a special tool to press them in because you cant press on the hub they way you have in the vid as it puts pressure on the bearing and fcuks it. If you google it you should see what i mean. I know as i work in a garage and have pressed them in without the tool and a couple of months later they come back with knackered bearings again haha.
