In this Video I not only Restore the Holy Roman Empire, but also Unite Germany. This is all done through Prussia, and can act as a sort of Guide to doing so if you would like it to serve as such.

Napoleon actually didn’t destroy the HRE, Emperor Francis II dissolved it and absolved all subjects and princes of their allegiances before Napoleon could destroy it, or potentially before Napoleon could revive it under the House of Bonaparte and subject the House of Habsburg to that humiliation. King George III of Great Britain, as elector of Hanover, protested the dissolution since he was one of the Prince electors.

I actually do think Guyana is worth it, because the AI doesn't value their slices of it very highly so they're often willing to give it to you, and it has both rubber and gold.

I think for more RP sense, it would make more sense as this to be a goal for Austria. Prussia already formed Germany IRL and has all that baked in flavor. It would never actually have made sense for them to unify Germany and the next day be like "We're the HRE again". But for the Habsburgs, it would have made only a grain of more sense. Or even a Papal-formed Itally.

My head cannon is that the EU is the modern day HRE. But yeah Prussia never wanted to reform the HRE.

Well, when the German Empire was formed, there were talks to add Austria to it as well. It didnt happen, but it could have. If Gross-Deutschland had been formed with Austria-Hungary, that would have basically been the HRE except under the Hohenzollern instead of the Habsburgs.

Most conservative German nationalists, including King Frederick William IV of Prussia, supported a restored HRE. A reactionary Germany dedicated to preserving old feudal hierarchies, be it under Habsburg or Hohenzollern rulership, could plausibly enough restore the Holy Roman Empire

For the reason why the gun so cheap, you switch production method which allows factories produce more guns, but no one is using it. So either switch back production method to before, or deploy more infantries and cavalry to create demands

To make a yo-yo sway you don't have to be involved in a war and you don't have to be involved in any other diplomatic game. So first declare neutrality in all other diplomatic games and capitulate in wars.

In addition - not only regular troops, but also the mobilization reserve are involved in the force calculation, so you can quickly increase the force without building any additional structures

if you ever get the chance of getting Rotterdam, TAKE IT! it is currently the biggest freight port in europe and i guess that it even back then made very much money! thats probably why France wont give you Rotterdam because it makes them so much money

im surprised you didnt form super-germany before going to hre. its a lot quicker and you only have to get austria to like you again (which can be done by like 1860 if youre quick)

Yeah you're 100% right. Truth be told initially I didn't plan to do the HRE but then I kinda just did half way through recording. I've got a video coming soon that will fix this mistake.

I find it better to first go for super germany uniting the all the german states yogetger with austria hungary in the 1850s aswell as getting calai from france in the unification war. Then you go for belgium and the netherlands, tge swiss and finally whatever italian states you want and you will have all of the HRE plus hungary, croatia and bosnia and you can probably do it by early 1860s.
