Fantastic video! We have been doing this with 5-6 year projects as the main projects but added an additional tier between current collection and those big project goals of “stepping stones” the ones who don’t fit in the big projects but their offsprings will. We’re doing this with the multiple hets specifically. Really great information and explanation.

Quick question, I known you are big on the Sunset stuff. Me too. Is there any way of identifying a het Sunset? Like color or pattern differences. I just hatched a clutch of 50% hets. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! I don’t think there are any for sure markers. One thing I have noticed interesting about the hets is that they seem to have an orangesish blushing that kinda looks like Yellowbelly flames but that might also be polymorphism. We sent in a bunch of sheds to RGI and they anticipate having the sunset test ready to go sometime this summer. Also huge congrats on your sunset clutch btw!

@@LeviathanSnakes okay awesome thanks for the advice. I have definitely noticed that a few of the babies have an almost peach color on the side. I think I’m going to keep all the females and purchase a known 100% het male. It might make my life easier. Thanks again, have a wonderful day.

I actually just finalized a deal with Family Jewels Herp Sales on a GHI, Mojave, HRA, het Sunset boy. I have 2 adult het girls for him. Super excited!!!
