Nice. Another classic single sub hatchback build. I love how simple the old Honda hatchbacks are and they will run almost forever. The airspace and shape of the car have alot to play a part.

Nice.. i have same car.. running a dd9518sc .. my box is a mbe enclosure 6.5 cu . 20 in per on the port. tuned to 31hz.. at 1k watts its insane.

In the past I have seen clamps for term lab have issues read full bridge wattage and give inaccurate readings. Could likely be that because that board cannot produce 11kw.

About to do the same install with that exact sub and amp in my 323 hatch, but box is 4.5 cu ft, tuned to 37hrtz though. I do have 2 U18's and an 8 cu ft box but don't want to loose my back seats just yet.

4:08 people overlook tht alot. Runnin amps below 2ohms no good you loose Sq but not sure if it matter to em using a ported box

@@MatthewGuynn-ki8rn I had a friend, Brent Lipham, that did a wall and back seat delete in one back in early 2000s. Hit a 153.4 or something off of just one of the first gen Kicker Solo Xs. I don't remember what frequency he used, though. Was 03 I think? Those years are a bit of a blur... 🙄

Its a honda crx they get loud asf it doesnt matter what you put in it i used to have a massive audio dmx quad coil 15 on two massive 3ks in a crx and it did mid 50s like 13 14 yrs or so ago

Be careful charging yinlong higher than 14.8v because you can (and eventually will) smoke them! Nice snug install otherwise looks like it gets down hard. Pity it's tuned so high, will make it hard to get loud on the lows, but nothing wrong with the overall final result!

What are you talking about? Yinglong charging voltage is 14.8v to 16v+. Go look at a charging chart for yinglong. Don't take my word for it.

@@grady.stu.8300 Yeah my bad I got my numbers messed up... they can actually charge up to 17.4 with B grade cells. For some reason I recalled the wrong digits, I've looked at too many battery solutions in the last 2 weeks - it's a blur xD

@@soldjahboyhighly doubt the 17v claim, nobody has ever used “B cells” and charged them that high to my knowledge , my buddy smoked his at 16v

@@modernbassheads5051 Not saying I would try it either, but that's what's written on the spec sheet. It claims 14.8v was the "minimum maximum" but up to 17.4v or whatever it said. I always feel faster charging on any cell is generally never a great idea for longevity... no matter what the "rating" says.

People commenting about CRX that dont own a crx. 😂 being easy to get loud is only a half truth . Yes they are acoustically easy to pressurize bc of the small cabin.. short dash . BUT!! they are high tuned cabins.. 60/65 hz.. not to mention very tricky.. and vary greatly from car to car.. i seen a build where a guy lost 4db by dynamat on the passenger door.. but gained on the driver door . Also guys like emf are very accurate with box placement.. what you want is open space behind the driver side . OVERALL my point is its not as simple as " he has a CRX its cheating".

I used a term lab to test in an audio shop. I’m not sure how I got 11k out of that amp but I have picture proof. I can do it again anytime u wanna see it
