Scott, YES!!! The reality is that working on our own resume is the worst, but we have to remember it is all about our audience. Less is more, super simple, and the summary is key. So happy the template helped you!

@@jeffhsipepi I like your bulleted resume style. Can this format be used for a career changer? What if I have mostly soft skills like communication, collaboration, leadership, organizational skills etc? What's your take on using Google drive to make a resume instead of Microsoft Word?

@@nanapoku5259 The more concrete the skills in he summary the better, I really don't like soft skills in the summary. But I understand that this can be difficult if you are making a career change. I prefer Google Docs over Word, but either one is fine!

In web writing, the general rule is the article should look like an F. Sounds similar to what you’re saying about bullets. It’s eye-catching!

Hello Jeff, I very enjoyed your videos, and thanks for sharing so many interview and resume tips. In this video, you talked about the summary should be bullet points with skill. What if I'm not applying for technical job positions, such as an administrative assistant or project coordinator? So should I list my summary as organization skills or communication skill?

Dean, yes, but make sure the bullets are specific, so instead of organizational skills, you would put something like event planning, etc.
