Resurrecting Shorty - A Land Rover Restoration.
Shorty is a 1965 Series IIA Land Rover which I have owned since 2004. A couple of years ago she failed her MoT on excessive chassis corrosion, and got parked up in a field to await repair.
In late 2020 I started her up and drove her off the field in order to start fixing her up.
If you've been following my videos from the start, then you'll know that things have gotten somewhat out of hand, and there is very little of Shorty left actually attached to Shorty. And in this video, things don't get much better.
This time, I'm continuing the work to repair the driver's side main chassis rail whilst dodging the occasionally inclement weather!

nice job looks great....just stripped down a 59 S11 for a customer...not a spot of rust on the chassis and it´s the original...but thankfully it only spent a very short time in UK before going to Africa\Canaries and then here in Portugal...bulkhead needs toprail sorted though...enjoying your videos thanks for making them...
