This is exactly the kind of message I became a Christian and entered into this ancient Flow in order to not only change my life, and offer healing and hope to the lives of those around me, but also to proclaim (to live out, through my experience of life) the hope, healing, restoration, compassion, and goodness of the Kingdom of God! He preaches gnosticism and mangles scripture I am afraid. He incoporates new ageism into his teaching and teaches prennialism and universalism. He clearly is a accomplish public speaker and is or would be an extremely approachable and devoted parish priest. But his conception of Christ obliterates the uniqueness of the human Jesus and the need for the crucifixion for the salvation. The Christ isn't a type. There is only one Christ.

As St. Paul says, Jesus was resurrected as "the firstborn from the dead" (Colossians 1:18). This explains the belief which we find recorded in the Gospels, that many resurrections followed that of Jesus: "The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose" (Matthew 27:52). For the earliest Christians, the resurrection established a new era of history - the validation of Jesus as Messiah, and hence the spiritual transmutation of man and the total renewal of the world. This, of course, constituted a "mystery," but a mystery that was to be "proclaimed upon the house tops." And initiation into the Christian mystery was open to all. In short, the initiatory elements in primitive Christianity simply demonstrate once again that initiation is an inseparable element in any revaluation of the religious life. It is impossible to attain to a higher mode of being, it is impossible to participate in a new irruption of sanctity into the world or into history, except by dying to profane, unenlightened existence and being reborn to a new, regenerated life. - Mircea Eliade, Rites and Symbols of Initiation

Leirba *The Queen Of Sheba* The life of the human aeon. The Ante-Deluvian aeon for the first generation was up to a thousand years for each person Methuselah being an exception. I have to believe this is true though to a modern mind it is laughable, but we need to understand the perception and beliefs of these ancient people because it is an important concept which sets boundaries. In relation to this longevity Jesus states Matthew 24:22 _And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened_ Jesus therefore clearly means that resurrection included reincarnation, but there is a distinct difference between *The Resurrection* and _resurrection_ The former being an end to the Aeon and the latter just the souls coming and going to gain nourishment for its being. _John 10:9 I am the door; if anyone enters by me he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture_ *The importance of Luke 20:34-36* _34 And Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage; 35 but those who are accounted worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, 36 for they cannot die any more, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection_ Based upon the Bible truth that judgement does not occur until the soul has completed multiple resurrections (reincarnations) and can no longer attain rebirth in the physical world, that passage, relies on Jesus understanding of what he revealed about the unbelieving Jews in relation to the Queen of Sheba’s Resurrection. *Note capital R* _Matthew 12:41 The queen of the South will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here_ Jesus teaches here the boundaries of aeons as a thousand years from one Resurrection to another, so those Jews who railed against him would be able to live out their lives until such time as they could no longer be reborn and then be judged, and at that judgement the Queen of the South would Arise and condemn them, this is the same meaning as Resurrection. Her life was recorded as being 9th century B.C. a thousand years accurarately places her Resurrection in the 1st century A.D. Therefore Jesus had a meticulous understanding of resurrections reincarnation, and Resurrection, as he states “I AM the Resurrection and the Life” And guess what, the Queen of the South wasn’t even a Catholic. I too have reached the stage where I have already been judged, and my future in Paradise will be among those people whose earthly lives ended in the last thousand years I will be particularly friendly to King Peter I of Portugal and his wife Inez de Castro who died in the 12th century, I am destined to watch them as they resurrect from dust in their sarcophagus, He will arise first and he will go to his wife’s regenerated body and help her from her sarcophagus, then both of them will walk over to a beam of light and ascend into the world of the 3rd day. This is not Catholic teaching this is Biblical teaching Catholic teaching has been unable to comprehend what has been written because it understands through a very narrow prism. _Doctors of arts, medicine, law and philosophy can be made by the pope, the emperor and the universities; but be quite sure that no-one can make a doctor of Holy Scripture save only the Holy Ghost from heaven, as Christ says in John vi ‘They must all be taught by God himself’. Now the Holy Ghost does not ask after red or brown robes, or what is showy, whether a man is young or old , clerical or lay, monastic or secular, virgin or married. Indeed , he once spake by an ass against the prophet that rode on it, would that we were worthy that such doctors be given us…” (Luther, An d. chr. Adel deutch. Nation v. d.v.d. chr. Standes Besserung. 1520, W.A. ,. 6. pg 460, 1, 28 from Church Dogmatics by Karl Barth vol 1.1 pg 19_

Second Peter chapter 2 is worth quoting in its entirety here. It is so obviously applicable. Those with ears, please hear: "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. tTheir condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains2 of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought ya flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 8 (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble gas they blaspheme the glorious ones, 11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord. 12 iBut these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant, will also be destroyed in their destruction, 13 suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions,6 while they feast with you. 14 They have eyes full of adultery,7 insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. pAccursed children! 15 Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing, 16 but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness. 2 Pet 2:17 uThese are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. vFor them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved. 18 For, speaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves8 of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved. 20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 21 For dit would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”"

It's very nice to listen to this kind of thing because it makes us feel that everything is alright. The problem is everything is not alright. Outside my window are seagulls. When they die do they live forever ? No they die. They die and their individuality is anhialated by existence and will never live again. They are dead and they are never coming back. Their bodies are recycled and so is their life energy recycled into other things. So ... where do they live forever ? They don't. And life is identical with us. If Everything was okay then there would be no spiritual teachings. What is there to teach if everything is okay ? Everything is not okay. As for Jesus the Christ this is what he said : "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;" John 11:25 Which means .... "he that does not believe in me will die when he dies". It is very clear. This priest does not know anything at all. He wears the robe of Christianity but he is a liar, he knows nothing. Only the truth will set you free. If you do bad things you will hurt yourself. God has given us a life, a seed .... and if we choose to we can multiply it, we can enter the Light. Otherwise we will perish and never live again. Our energy is recycled and always remains in God in some way, and that is okay. It is important not to lie about what Jesus said. He was very clear. You, we, all will perish unless you reach the state of inner realization. There is no question that that is his message and the message of all teachers. That is why they taught. To save your soul. One must not lie. A better way to comprehend the path is that it is an opportunity. We are born of the flesh, an animal, we have this life it can be very nice having a picnic in the park. There are no problems. But if one loves the Holy then the God will provide a different trajectory for you. Only if you want it. It all begins with being sincere. For instance not lying about what Jesus said. Sincerity is a deep well, but we live in illusions and lies, look at our destruction whilst everyone drives happily by. We are an illusion, to wake is frightening .... but what good is a life lived in maya. So that's our choice and that is what the master taught. Now you choose.

The Apostacy at All Saints Church Pasendena is truly sad . 1 Peter in his two epistles is a great teacher and warning about false teachers . Preaching another Gospel as Richard Rohr is and as is being preached in this Church . When we have been born again we repent of our sin whatever the sin and turn away from it . At All Saints Church Pasedena it seems they honor sin and False Preaching and teaching . Those involved in leading people astray according to the Holy Bible the strong Judgement of God is upon them the Bible is clear on it . I am praying for this Church and the False teachers preaching another Gospel that they come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior before it is eternally to late .

@@mudhen9295 Hi That is what the Holy Bible teaches those who reject Gods plan of salvation that Jesus made possible on the cross if they die rejecting Jesus The Holy Bible says they go straight to the lake of fire or torment hell . It is not a pleasent thought and you do not even have to believe it that is fine . We all have a choice to accept Jesus or reject Jesus the choice is totally up to us . The Holy Bible teaches God is a God of love but also a God of justice . Jesus talked about hell the lake of fire more than anything warning people about it . You may not like it and that is fine but the Holy Bible teaches that is where the lost who want no part of Jesus go . We are all going to die some people die suddenly with no warning and never have another chance to accept Jesus Christ and according to the Bible spend eternity burning in a lake of fire . So if you die and go to hell you cannot be mad at God you rejected God and his plan of salvation . You will only have yourself to blame . Again if you do not believe it that is fine I respect that but that is not going to change anything just because you do not believe it . Anyway thank you for your comments I hope you have a great night .

@@MR.CHRISTIAN-m1i You might also recall that, after he returned, Jesus went to hell and cleared the place out -- the harrowing of hell (Holy Saturday). This idea of hell as an eternal location (so dark God is powerless to change it) is bizarre because it diminishes God. It reduces the universal, all-powerful, God of peace and healing to a tribal cult figure. God IS love -- universal good will and forgiveness. Christ died on the cross to teach the lesson of universal empathy, not promote in-group out-group bigotry. Don't get hooked on blame and anger, that's not Christianity and it's certainly not Jesus.

This man is a dangerous false teacher. The "Christ" ISN'T a reality that is bigger than Jesus. Jesus IS the Christ - not just an expression of the 'Christ.' Andrew got it right when he said to his brother Simon, "We have found the Messiah" and John adds: "which means Christ" (John 1:41). Jesus alone is the Christ. Peter said to Jesus "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:16)

Rohring lion is confusing. Jesus is the Christ and the Christ is Jesus. THE Christ, not a Christ. Rohr says that Jesus is a victim. He is not a victim. He is the lamb of God. Thomas is not not believing in a suffering God. That wasn't the point. The point was that Jesus was dead. And Thomas says unless he can put his finger in the nail print he will not believe he is resurrected. Jesus does not tell Thomas he can not know what what He (Jesus) is talking about unless he puts his finger inside His (Jesus') wounds. That is not in the text. Rather he says to Thomas 'come and put your finger in the nail print, reach out and put your hand in my side and be not unbelieving but believe. But Thomas doesn't do it. Rather he falls down and worships Jesus. Rohr is always stretching the gospel around his gnostic heresy. For Rohr Jesus is not the sacrificial lamb who takes away the sin of the world, or as in Mark's gospel, a ransom for many but he (Jesus) is an abstract principle of ultimate reality. Thus the Cross is not essential to salvation. Knowing the principle is. Hence, gnosticism. This guy is anti-Christ.

Sorry but your analogy is messed up, Richard Rohr. You noted that in Genesis Yahweh breathed onto the mud and created the first human being, fair enough. But then you referred to when, after his resurrection Jesus breathed onto the apostles and you claim that it shows Christ is the corporate personality for the second, transformed human being. Dosen't fly: the apostles were the ones breathed upon, so *they* would be that corporate personality for the transformed human being.
@almilligan73175 жыл бұрын
A Rohring lion destroy everything in its path. If anyone preaches another Gospel or if Paul himself preaches another Gospel let him be accursed. The Christ is not a cosmic code word. That is the Gnostic heresy. But I delivered to you what I received from the Lord, that on the night he was crucified... Rohring lion is no different in his message than the Buddhist and the idea of the beginningless mind. Laughing at the cross and the idea of God's love is anti-Christ. In Christ we have hope. Christianity wasn't a final hope for history. Here Rohr again and again misrepresent the gospel. For God so loved the world that WHOEVER receives him he gave power to become a child of God. Not the world. He showed them his hands and side because he was dead and disciples did not believe their eyes. It is no surprize that Rohring lion uses John's gospel so much. John has been called the gnostic gospel. In Mark's gospel the disciples do not go down to Gallili to meet Jesus. Here again Rohring lion misquotes the gospel saying to Thomas believe in the Cosmic Christ when it was Thomas himself who said he would not believe that Jesus had been raised unless he could put his fingers in the nail print, which he in fact doesn't do. The Catholic church has argued that Rohr's is a heretical gospel. So now where do the poor and those who are lost go for salvation since it is obvious Rohring lion isn't talking to them. Beware of those who come in my name saying he's here, he's there. The very elite will fall into this lie. That is the job of the ante-Christ, to divide and mock the real Christ, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Greeks. How many times does Rohring lion say that the simple understanding of the Crucifiction and the Resurrection is foolishness and makes fun and laughs at those simple minded idiots?

@almilligan73173 жыл бұрын
@@theguyver4934 I don’t agree, since I am trinitarian in the image of my Father. What I mean by Trinity is according to John’s Gospel especially chapter 14; I and the Father are one, and will be with you. Mine is not a cosmic Christ as is RR’s. Mine is descriptive rather than prescriptive of an ideology. For example, when a person says my body, where is he? Or my mind? Where is the I in the statements. Rather the Bible says that the Adam became a living spirit when god blew the breath of life into him. In this regard we all know what is meant by trinity: I am a body, I am a mind, I am a spirit. Think about a person being a mind rather than having a mind. With the latter, where is the I located?
