SOUTH SYDNEY MARCHES ON! Wow brought back many memories of the golden days..Remember my dad bringing home George Piggens, John O'Neil, John Sattler one night they were all drinking at the local pub.... will never forget how softly spoken and respectful they were of us kids and stayed for about 20mins....I marched with most of my family up George St...Very moving tribute....well done...

@@clevelandwilliams5922 So true. It's been corrupted over the years and it's sickening how they promote some players who are in my opinion 'ordinary' but they become the poster boys for Souths. I'm trying to hang in there and support our club but it's getting harder.

@@justlinsu I can tell you this that if you put them on the field with the likes of John O’Neil, John Sattler or even Gary Stevens & George Piggins they’d die, if they played under the rules of that period. Those men believed in something and had values. All the other rubbish it’s South Sydney I have no skills or employability is next to zero. Hey Channel nine or Fox, make me a on field commentator.

@@clevelandwilliams5922 You only have to look at what they (men in suits) tried to do to to Alex Johnston and then actually succeeded with Adam Reynolds. Both loyal club men and Alex top try scorer and Adam top Goal kicker in the whole league. A lot of players offered to take a pay cut to keep Reynolds. But no, kicked him the guts and threw him away. Cameron Murray, Souths Captain and Vice Captain of the World Cup squad hardly gets a mention... They promote a lazy man who refuses to sing National Anthem but is happy to wear the Green n Gold because it promotes him and his ego. Sorry probably not the place to air my concerns lol

@@justlinsu your entitled to express your observation. They only play representative rugby league, because they all receive $10000 per game. When in reality, many of yesteryear played for the colours and pride of representing their nation. That is how you know an agenda is at work. I’m a North Sydney Bear supporter and have a soft spot for the Bunnies, because of what they endured during Super League War and then expulsion. For me Chickens are a sellout bunch, they should’ve as a foundation club joined forces with the other 1908 clubs and joined forces to fight the NRL. Not resort to tactics of survival, because forefathers of Roosters would’ve been ashamed by their actions. Founding Fathers.

Now if only all this passion resulted in supporters attending home games. Now, in early 2019, there's talk of relocating 1 or 2 clubs from Sydney...to Perth, Central Coast.... If we don't get good crowds going to watch us play, we could be moved. It's better to march to our home games than marching in protest when we get shifted to Perth.

Just watched the Rabbitohs beat the Warriors. It may seem strange a rugby playing, Perth-based Pom supporting the Rabbitohs, rather than the Force or WCE. But I was moved by the supporters saving the club from the bean counters 14yrs ago, and I hope WE can finally win the league and play-offs this year.
