I few months ago I bough a magnetic pallette and some magnets, I depoted every eyeshadow that I liked that was in a crapy packaging, now I use them so much more and can create my own color story 🙂‍↔️

I don’t know how you do it. I wanted to do the same and looked some videos on how to do it, but some reason I ended up cracking all my shadows in the process and got frustrated and threw them all away. I love the idea of keeping just my favorites and combining them, same way that you did

@AuthenticallyRefined I use a thin knife or spatula and before taking them spray them with rubbing alcohol to avoid mayor cracking, if I have plastic packaging I try to losen the glue by heating it with a hairdryer and always try first with a shade that don't care much about. Of course even doing this can be some casualties, but repressing them is really easy (break it into semi fine powder and put some rubbing alcohol to form a paste and press with some tissue and your fingers or a cap of your makeup, good as new), and if you really can't depote them because of the packaging you can always repressed then into another container. Most important thing is that I always do this process when I have patience, time and a good mood. I see this as a way to enjoy even more my collection, makeup is supposed to be fun and I treasure every single bit of mine even if I don't like it that much (so I started franken shades), if you do this in a stressed mood you're probably going to drop the towel very soon. I have that emerald green super shock shadow , it's so pretty, my ( pop of color) that I like to wear is green and I probably wear it a few times a month.
