If you had all the supplies that you want, it would clog up your creativity. I always told my children it’s better to have not quite enough than to have too much. Did they believe me? I don’t think so but I’ve found it true. Natasha! You are coming up on a very amazing number. I’m excited for you.

When I first started crafting I saw many people say the same about having too many supplies. It has stuck with me since I started in 2020 and I've been careful not to buy too many craft products.

This is the first I am hearing of the retiform technique. I loved it! As far the floral stamp, I would do it either way. If you were to do it on the left edge of the card I would show half of it. I saw a tree done that way (half the trunk). That was stunning! Now I will search for the original technique. Another technique to add to my repertoire. Thank you again for a great video.💜😊

One of my favorite techniques is to tape off the edges, add colors, and then stamp, sometimes with the tape in place, other times with it removed. It's such an easy technique and produces very "artsy" results. Great video!

There's another equally as old technique I like, too, which involves a transparency. I don't remember a name for it. You "paint" on the back of a piece of transparency (the non-shiny side) with a mix of mica powder (like pearl x or perfect pearls) and a glue (I always used glossy accents) and allow to dry. You should still be able to sort of see through the transparency. The "paint" can have a sort of dry brush effect, too, as it should be translucent when it dries, not opaque. Then, in black permanent ink (I use staz-on but archival might work?) CAREFULLY stamp on front, shiny side, a fairly thick lined image with open areas and allow to dry. Using one of today's stamp positioners will make this step MUCH easier! The transparency made the stamp slide on it and you'd have to wipe off and try again! Then, crop transparency to fit around your image and mount on your card with layers of colored papers cut and mounted as you see fit. You can get gorgeous outcomes depending on the colors you chose, with shiny effects from the acetate. Some ppl used heat resistant transparency and embossed image in a metallic color instead. TFS!
