Hi Beth...I just stumbled on this video and couldn't agree with you more...I've been using Retin-A for over 20 years (52 now) and I believe it's one of the best products I've used on my skin...With continued use, (and we have to be consistent especially since it gets worse ie redness, peeling before it gets better...:) it will help with the fine lines, sun damage, collagen etc...I would never be without this product either!!!

I love how you mixed your serums. I am going to start doing that. Applying one after the other isn't working for me any longer. I have about 5 serums I alternate with and I think I am just going to use them all and see how I do. My skin was drier but now it's more normal. It's kind of transformed itself on me. Must be my age! Love your videos and look forward to them very much!

I use the dollar tree cleansing cloths, or baby wipes. So much cheaper and works just as well. Really like your reviews on products. I am going to pick up a little container at dollar tree. Thanks for that idea. I use a lot of the oils u use and serums. I love using all of these products. Its almost like a hobby to me. 😊 I do different with retin a. I only use it every other night, and I don't put any other products on with it. I use all my serums and oils every day am, and every other night. I change off my night oils and serums.

I agree with the other ladies in that cleanser and water should be used after your wipes (which is only taking off the surface makeup) to thoroughly cleanse the face before using witch hazel/toner/micellar water. Also I suggest using a headband and ponytail for your hair to expose and clean the entire face. I do enjoy your channel and have picked up some amazing tips, thank you so much!

Thanks for the video! I need to get better using serums. Right now I’m only using an eye cream and the Colleen Rothschild night cream on my face. I am interested in the lash serum. I have sparse lashes but honestly I think it’s partly from the lash paradise mascara. It takes too much effort to take off and I think I was pulling out lashes with it 😩 so lately I’ve been using the neutrogena hydro boast mascara. So far I’m liking it. Take care Beth and have a great weekend!

Thanks for your information. You are beautiful and classy. You look like Cameron Diaz to me. My mom avoided the sun, wore sunhats and gloves. She slathered her face with vaseline every night. She died at 91. Flawless skin! My niece and I made certain after she passed that she was not leaving the house with any facial hair! I had my excellent Anastasia tweezers with me. Also when I lived in Seattle it was me and the older Asian ladies wearing our big sun hats! We always complimented each others hats. I wonder if they ever saw any other white women wear sun hats, I didn't. Just those silly baseball caps. Anyhow, thanks again for your time. Sincerely, Heather

New to your channel. Binge watching! My profile picture which you can see there is from three months ago I will be 68 in November. I have never got a prescription of Retin-A but I am considering it I have use Retin-A from Paula’s choice. But I’m not consistent so I need to get serious and get into a real routine. I like how you combined them all in your hand and just put them on because I always thought you know basically I’m lazy I don’t wanna stand there and drop a drop on my face and rub it in and get the next bottle out and do it over and over again. Thanks for showing that because that is exactly the way I would want to use it LOL

Hi Jill. You and I sound so much alike! I have to admit though in terms of mixing all the products together, I no longer do that. I realize that whenever you apply a serum, you really do need to apply it and let it sink in until it dries before you go on with the other products. I’m OK with putting all the other products together, but I’ve learned that when you apply a serum you do need to let it sink in After cleansing and toning if you do that step.

Great video. I explain things so easily for me to understand. I really appreciate that. I have been thru yrs of Cancer treatment and it can effect someone in so many ways physically and mentally. And memory and understanding can be a little challenging sometimes. So Thanku. I didn’t know anything about thyroid effecting ur brows? I do take thyroid meds and my doc check it and make sure I’m taking the right amount which is I think the lowest or one of the lowest doses. But I have had issues of hair loss and went to my doc at the time though was going theu ALOT of stress and she thought it might have a lot to do with that at the time. It has gotten better and have a lot little baby hairs coming in own that like to stick straight up sometimes. Lol. So that was interesting about brows. But I have had shingles super bad on my left side of scalp and face and they still flare a little during stressful times. It took more than half my lashes and brows and looks like I got burnt in the skin on that side it’s very white and marbles looking compared to the other side. But Thank God for bangs I have worn literally all my life. And I wear glasses which just got a new pair. Feeling realty Great about all that. New teeth new eyes. I figure I should get good false lashes but right now using drops every two hrs from dry eyes problems hard to keep anything on my eyes. But sometimes I just throw a little mascara on what j have and go. This is just me and how I am. I accept it so others might as well too. Eye liner does help it out a little. Keep from looking just bare skin. Thanks again.

Hi Joyce, I am so sorry to hear that you have had to go through cancer treatment. I currently have a large lump on my thyroid and have been waiting to go in for the biopsy. It is scheduled for a week from today and I can't wait to see what it is. It sounds like your thyroid treatment is working. I'm so glad you are getting new hair sprouts. Sorry to hear about the shingles. I can't imagine how difficult that must be to deal with. I know what it is to go through health challenges. I am so glad you are now cancer free and I wish you continued perfect health. I am with you though on accepting that good is enough is often good enough in terms of beauty stuff. Have a great week! FiftyPlusBeauty Thanku so much for ur encouraging words. I know how hard it is to wait for biopsies. I went thru 15 yrs almost 16 yrs. I have a new knot on my elbow or by it and they r going to do an Ultrasound on it. They think it’s a cyst and I’m hoping they r right. I’m surprised and happy they didn’t want to stick a needle in it immediately. But he felt of it and that what he thinks. We will see. At this point of beating it five times and many yrs of treatments. All kinds. I can be patient and wait this out. Sometimes I think they need to get in this fast. But in the medical world they don’t work as fast as I think and too fast when I’m not ready. Lol. So I try to take it one day at a time. So hang in there. I will be praying for U. Keep in touch I will gladly be here for U no matter what they find. There so many things that can effect us that isn’t r first thought of Cancer. All it really is over production of cells. That form some grow faster than others. Some spread and some don’t. They don’t always know why? Mine is Non Hodgkin lymphoma that is a slow grower it’s been in my groin to my neck. And in between. But They have gotten so Good at treating. Mine is suppose to be treatable but not curable. Although they consider in the Medical world if u can go five urs without any growth u have a Great chance of being cured and I’m so close. I have done treatment just for maintenance sake for extra two yrs. I was willing and now hope it has worked. Gel free to contact me anytime I usually check my comments on here and can give u my email or IG dm or anything.

Hi Liz, I have just found you - I have used a product called A313 for a few years now ( Retinol) it is made in France and is relatively cheap £15 ( about $20) and the difference in my skin is absolutely amazing.... I work for a premium cosmetic company and really don't bother with the skin care I am given by them. The reason I am commenting is that I too lost a bunch of Eyelashes on the left eye and tried everything.... Eventually I went to the doctors and they tested for thyroid problems - the results where negative but like you, I started using an eyelash growth serum , although the eyelashes are not as thick and long as the remainder, I now have lashes in my bald spot ( the doctors eventually diagnosed alopecia of the eyelashes ?!?!).... May I add you look fab 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Hi Jane, It sounds like that product is wonderful! Unfortunately it's not available here in the uS. That is a weird problem about the eyelash bald spot on one side, but I am so with you! I was amazed at how much the Babelash helped! I am in the midst of looking at thyroid issues right now. Apparently I have a mass on my thyroid and they are going to do. I have a biopsy in a week. That could have something to do with my hair loss and brow loss issues. Thanks for your comments. Have a great week! XXOO

Hi Beth, I start using retinol a few month ago and only 2 nights a week . I was concerned at first because I didn't see any kind of peeling in my face and thought it wasn't working on me. I added 2 more knights to my treatment and oh boy! The peeling start happening. I decided to back down to only 2 knights a week and continue mixing my retin A with my night cream which I have been using this line for several years and I love it. I use no 7 restore and renew day cream and night cream. They work wonderful for my skin. I start with the no 7 lift and laminate line years ago and I love it as well but since I'm 51 I changed to the restore and renew because is more for mature skin. I believed that mixing my retin a with this night cream is what make my skin not peeling and not feeling dry at all. I recommend this 2 products and I would loved to see you giving at try and let us know your opinions. Is more affordable and I purchase my products at target and sometimes online if I don't want to go to the store. Just so u know I'm not affiliated with anyone to sell this products, this is just my humble opinion and I would love more women to know they can too take care of their skin without spending a fortune on products. I watch your videos all the time and I love the way you explain everything. Thank you so much.

The chemists at The Ordinary (and some other companies I can't recall) recommend that, as well: "stacking" them...going from most watery to thickest. It makes logical sense to do that, as well. They also recommend waiting up to 5 minutes for each to absorb, although that's not feasible time-wise for most people.

Our routine and product choices are almost identical. Great minds think alike I'm thinking. The one thing I do differently is that I also like to wash my face with a gentle cleanser and water. One tip (hey, I have one!) is that I've replaced all the droppers for my Timeless and Ordinary serums with pumps. This prevents daily exposure to air and keep the serums fresher longer and if you have a cat that likes to jump on counters like I do (love you, Forrest) you can avoid any expensive spills.

Hi, I’ve been following you for awhile now (I’m approaching 75 yrs young) and just saw this tutorial. Very well done. In checking the products mentioned, especially the ones from “Timeless” I noted that some of them have one or more of the ingredients you recommend in your daily routine. For example: the Matrixyle Synthe ‘6 serum also has Hyaluronic Acid in it and the Skin Diva Argireline has both the Matrixyl & Hyaluronic Acid included. Do you then “double dose” with these products or do you just use say the Skin Diva & omit the other two ingredients since it contains both? Your skin a beautiful....wish I had started younger. Also, do you “de fuzz” by shaving or using the new instrument on the market (sorry, can’t think what it’s called right now).

Hi Sandra, I have actually shaved my face using just a normal plastic razor for years. I also use that new device too as it is so good at getting the peach fuzz. I can't remember it's name either! LOL!! In terms of duplicate ingredients, I don't really worry much if I have duplicates. I know one day I should really take a look at each product's ingredients and hone down my list some but as long as I still have bottles waiting I will continue to use them. Just between you and me I am not all that organized about what I use. If I think I need the basic ingredient listed I just add it and so far it seems to be working pretty well. Love and hugs to you! I started the Gold Bond after seeing your video about it. I’ve been using it alone, but I wanted to know if I can use my serum under it.

Hi Patricia, You sure can. I apply my neck cream and then put all my serums over it. Although I have been trying out a different neck cream, I plan to return to using the Gold Bond as it's so good. XXOO

Hi Beth good video ....I use the Thrieve cosmetics you can go on line and look at the skin care products they are the best! I use their mascara that promotes growth and strengthen the lashes .. also look at Paul's Choice skin care products too...if I may make a suggestion your eye shadow would come off better with Neutrogena wipes or cleanser I noticed yours was quiet oily ..not good to get that in your eyes ..just a little suggestion ... thanks for your information...take care !! Hi Chris, Thanks for that info. Unfortunately, though, my skin is OILY!! Your comment will help many women here though as most women fight dry skin. Thanks! XXOO

There's a difference between oil and moisture (water). This freshner is non-oily.
