My advice is if you go to Santiago and Valparaiso be careful with your smartphones and cameras there're so many thief from Venezuela, Colombia and Haiti. The local people are very quiet, warm and friendly but, for an average tourist who goes without any information it is difficult to distinguish the difference between one and the other and sometimes because of them we look very bad to the tourists.

That is interesting. I was in Ecuador in 2014. I visited cuenca,guayaquil and Quito but as at now arm gangs has taken over the country. Chile and Peru is on my bucket list. Enjoying your videos.

I was planning a trip to Ecuador but this stopped me... "Exercise increased caution in Ecuador due to civil unrest, crime, and kidnapping. The country has been rocked by blasts, police kidnappings and prison disturbances in a wave of violence authorities are struggling to contain. The immediate trigger was the prison escape of one of Ecuador's most powerful drug lords but instability has been growing for years." The world can be a tough place.

Good question I use only tourist visas when I’m here I don’t know too much on long term visas ( too pricey )

The countries of South America you have visited so far are expensive indeed. You are likely to find cheaper meals and pay similar money ( or less) for budget accommodation in Spain, Portugal and Southern Italy. Although the sightseeing part in Europe will be far more spectacular and memorable than what you can see in Chile, Paraguay or Uruguay
