At least 120% of living expenses? Gosh, I'd say we are far away. We need to make more money to speed things up. Right now we are focused on paying off our mortgage. Its faster than the 30 year plan, but still seems so slow. It feels like sitting on the bench just waiting to be called. Once it's paid off it's game time!

Retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My parents both spent same number of years in the civil service, but my mom was investing through a wealth manager, and my dad through the 401k. My mom retired with about 4.2 million, but my dad retired with roughly 1.8 million.

This is true. I'm in my mid 50's now. My wife and I were following this same trajectory. Last two years, I pulled out my money and invested with her wealth manager. Not catching up with her profits over the years, but at least I earn more. I'm making money even before retiring, and my retirement fund has grown way more than it would have with just the 401(k). Haha.

It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.

I retired at 53 thanks to my husband . It wouldn't have been possible without his company stock plan because it far exceeded the 401k we both have. He is six years older than me and was sick of the day to day grind but we had no clue if our savings and investments would be sufficient, we finally went to a financial management meeting and we make all decisions for a profitable Investment and prepared a plan for our early retirement. We should have done that years ago but never considered that we might ever have enough to retire early and I thank God and my husband for the ability to do investment . We are now financially stable with everything paid for and we have a good health insurance ! Don't wait time is something we have in short supply and no amount of money will buy you more, I pray that anyone who reads and held to these words will be successful in life too 🙏🙏🙏

I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? I’d love to retire with at least $2million savings. Now you gotta rely on a pretty good diversification if you must stay green. Currently up 21% and being cautious. Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 0-1% interest.

I find it fascinating how crypto prices can fluctuate so drastically in such a short amount of time. It's a testament to the volatility of the market and the unpredictable of investor sentiment. However, i believe that these fluctuation are simple part of the journey towards mainstream adoption and eventual stabilization. Despite the risk, i remain bullish on the potential of crypto currencies to disrupt traditional finance and usher in a new era of decentralized transactions. Recent volatility makes it impossible to predict bullish or bearish trends. And trading success depends on the pattern and signal source.

Bitcoin price has not been doing really well lately in-fact the whole stock market, buying the dip isn't a tough call and it's a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. The good thing about the space is that you can buy the dips and put them into active trades, while confidently waiting for a pump in price because it is inevitable. Most people do not understand how the space work. Charts won't guarantee what an asset is going to do. Prices is going up and down and despite that the market has been profitable to me. I've always played safe implementing trades with insights and signals from a pro trader

All my children went through good education and am now trying to sell commercial plots in a new District. My District is called Mpongwe in Zambia 🇿🇲. I want invest in more land in other areas.

Invest in commercial property in city centers? Are you completely insane??? Have you seen what is happening to city centers in America since the pandemic? People don't want to go back to their office buildings, they are working from home. Office buildings are empty, parking garages are empty, city center cafes and restaurants are going bankrupt because there is no foot traffic. Every single REIT that has invested significantly in commercial property has taken a HUGE financial hit.

You know what'd also be amazing? Imagine if these vids you made were posted way back in 2005 in KZbin's earliest days. Or even before that on previous platforms, yet still y'all getting big & well-known. Your contents would've served valuable knowledge for everyone from back then and the effects already in place for decades now that we're already in the mid-2020s...and counting! But it's alright! Best time was years ago, second-best is today, the saying goes. I'm so glad & grateful to come across videos like these. Just my insights I wanted to share for everyone here to see :)

I was forced into retirement at 36 and I have found more ways to earn through the years to 60. Now I am learning how to earn from the side benefits. I have tons of photos, nic-nacs and souvenirs from my travels, and these things seem to be valuable in the right markets, with photos being able to be multi-sold.

@@sparkles999rose2 There are various formats and outlets. I do nature and domestic animals, however, the demand is as varied as the imagination. Some want natural, while others want enhanced. Some want weather, still others want sports. Easy, Ebay and Facebook to name a few outlets. There are rules: watermark your shit, there are pirates out there and it is your job to kill the idea you can be stolen from. Know what you have and the market you are in, if you don't get that ... . CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KING, but there are assholes who should be made into fertilizer, learn how to prevent complaints and develop a rhino's skin. Customer opinion can be the best driver, but you ain't GOD and this is your shop. Last bit for ya, know what the fuck your doing, before you start. Cuts down on mistakes and by doing your due diligence, you very likely will have a mentor, which already made a fair bit of mistakes to learn from. Hope this helps.
