I’m almost 71…..this is a tiny home I could definitely live in….I love everything about it…..this is better than just about anything as far as trailers I’ve ever seen. The style I love and the colors are perfect! We actually had one similar to this at a beach about 2 hrs from where we lived. It was from 1962…..vintage….this was before my husband passed away…we had it for just a few years…not long before he got sick and he couldn’t enjoy it anymore. Bless this man’s heart he made it possibly for me to decorate it any way I wanted….I did tell him I wanted his input too…it was “ours”….he told me “whatever makes you happy makes me happy”. I still asked for his input! I did it in mostly the colors you have here….I may have had a little more blue but still had your colors also. It was happy! You both seem to enjoy each other’s company and love life…..I sincerely hope it continues that way….it can be gone so fast. To both of you and to a wonderful joyful life together. Y’all look like a fun couple! Continued best of luck and happiness! LOVE your home!!

That was so great. Thank you. We got into tiny homes in 2009, after the crash and couldnt get a loan. My husband built our first tiny home in a junk yard. He got back from Afghanistan, and was stationed in El Paso. We were all aboit the Jay Shafer movement, economically speaking. The first time I saw a Tiny Home, I asked my husband if it was a shed. We lived off grid for two years. Michael. my husband, is now building a Tiny chapel. He has the Tiny Quality Homes site on FB. Getting back to the story. We built an underground home using a conex, bolstering it with 4x6 from a local mill. We put sliding glass doors at the end, but we can close the steel doors too. We also built a dome with hexagon structure. Its a 20 foot round structure. We use solar to power our lights and electric. A tankless hot water heater, of course, composte toilet. We do have city water. With the capability to get spring water from the creek if we need. Sorry to talk so long. We really enjoyed your story. Thank you. We both subsctibed to Nomadic Rambler and look foreard to watching more of your stories.

I have a washer just like the lady's. Thank you for having had me visit your home! It's amazing what you did. I guess you like it very much. And you enjoy your freedom too. Best wishes!
