Pilot said he never saw the UFO but it was appearing on his radar and was bigger then 2 football fields and he could see the incredible speed at which it flew away from his radar.

We will just be given a narrative of fear and mystery. Nothing that actually improves humanity, but "air cover" for the powers that be to use it for profit. ex. Pour more money into weapons and defense to "protect" us. I just want our impotent military and government to step out of the way on this one. I don't have a problem with them keeping this info from us as long as they have. It wasn't long ago that people would have gone loopy over finding out other life exists. It puts into question one's existence, religion, and human societal structures within culture and cross culture. Our society is much desensitized compared to a decade or two ago, likely because of the Internet. Imagine people in the 50s or 60s becoming fearful of things they don't understand. Likely would have gone to war with the unknown beings and possible self-destruction. Still, this tech could also belong to a private wealthy company that has superior tech than what any world super power has at this time. I get the feeling that it's not our own tech though, but preparation for the inevitable "introduction".
