The most profound Experience in my life was the immersion into the Buddhism culture. It saved my life visiting Thailand after I lost my parents, decades ago. I'm retiring there too, Chris. The immersion saved my life, as it will again. The country and people are beyond Amazing....it changes reality and provides a path to hope...bless you

Wow Chris What a fantastic project. I was supposed to be in Samui this past ten days until tomorrow with my son, but he had to cancel due to business reasons. I canceled as well but decided to reinstate my reservations and will be there in a few weeks and will definitely make a visit to the temple to see the upgrade. You are truly an inspiration to all of us that love Thailand and the people. Thank you!

Thai people in general are honest, kind, tolerant, accepting, understand that some things are within our control and some are not and they do not waste a lot of time and emotion complaining. They are caring, trustworthy, appreciative, willing to help, they practice collectivism and group think. Many more traits also.
@maegalroammis60209 ай бұрын
they're caring tolerant and willing to help, they practice collectivism and group think only because of the Buddhism. Most of them will still demand money. Don't think they're that trustworthy. thery just feel forced. they only show the best of themselves when you speak thai fluently.
@maegalroammis60208 ай бұрын
@@jbranche8024 few of them are like that, they only wants our money in reality.

Thank you Chris for doing this for Thai people- especially during and after these awful Corona times. Koh Samui was my first destination 20 years ago to Thailand and I love it too and is also one of the reasons I fell in love with Thailand. Now being in Thailand already at least 40 times this is still my favorite country to visit. I wish you to have good times there with your beautiful wife and take the most of it! I`ll be in Thailand again if everything is going by my plans in November this year.

I am so excited to be coming to Bangkok In November. My son married a wonderful Thai girl and I got to live the experience of the love, warmth and happiness of knowing someone Thai. She makes me feel so welcome and I’m not even there yet. Chris, I may need your help on learning how to move to Thailand. That is my plan, my dream, to move there in November permanently. Right now I’m a little overwhelmed. But to be a part of a country who is so thankful for water, is a dream I can only imagine. The US just expects to have everything given to them, I never thought about people actually making a holiday for water.. Love this country and I’m not even there yet. Thank you for everything you do, I can’t wait to get there and I hope to meet you soon.

Thank you for your service! After 40 years and 26 trips to Thailand, I never ventured to Koh Samui because I thought it was overrun with tourists. I almost canceled another visit after my favorite quiet beach was invaded by dozens of Chinese tourist buses and my underwater dive into the pristine water was met with jet ski exhaust when I surfaced. But no other country feels like home and I miss my Thai friends and everything that makes it so magical...

Hi Chris, I really appreciate the quietness of the Thais. I've just got back from Vietnam and the constant beeping is something I hated out there.. Thais just get on with things in an easy going fashion. Thais are accepting. They're rarely mean or rude to me. I do love staying in Chiang Mai regularly for that reason.
