Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My family and I lived in Bangkok/Phuket for 5 years. My children went to an International School in Bangkok . Since my husbands employment ended we are now back home. I do wish Thailand made it easier for Farangs to live and retire there. The Visa situation makes it very difficult. My daughter would like to return to live, she can work remotely for her western based company, how can she do this ? Love you videos, great sense of humour whilst being very informative. I love Thailand & just left Samui, it is almost empty which is so sad for people who desperately need tourists business. Immigration & their constant changes are so confusing along with mistreatment when going to immigration. Neighbor countries Immigration are so much more welcoming. Aside from that Thai people are so lovely & deserve people coming to visit. I was warned away from Phuket due to aggrieve tourists but I did not see it in person as I did not go. 💯 recommend Koh Samui & Koh Chang.

Then they should open casinos for gambling for tourists (only). It will attract a lot of rich Chinese, instead of them going to Singapore and Macau. Old foreigners on retirement and young sex tourists usually doesn’t have a lot of money. They spend money where they don’t pay any taxes.

Thailand has been able to avoid colonialism in the past. I agree with you. Thailand cannot allow China to infiltrate their way and gain control of Thailand’s economy. Neo-colonialism has already made its’ way to neighboring countries such as Laos, Cambodia and even Africa by China. I am confident Thailand won’t allow it to happen to their country 🙏

A lot of vulnerable countries like in SE Asia are being exploited by China’s financial influence. The pros are better infrastructure for these countries but at what cost in the long run?

Hi Chris. I am not sure, but my best guesses as to why the video was age-restricted: 1. The joke about melons re: the bikini-clad girl and 2. The image of the Russian catching fire while doing a shot. Unfortunately, kids are doing things they see as “challenges” on the Internet and as a result, some are seriously injured or even die.
