Compared to 15 years ago Thailands friendliness is gone. Locals getting more bitter and often i dont feel welcome anymore. Especially at the immigration if i have to sort out visa issues. Just my opiniom.

Sorry you're having a negative experience. I moved to Thailand eleven years ago, to Cha Am almost ten years ago, and I haven't noticed any negative changes. My immigration is likewise a bit cold, but I think that's going to be true with any bureaucracy that has to deal with the public every day.

I think you become more cynical with time and experience I can remember incidents and experiences from 15 years ago that were similar (including immigration) Its just the rich tapestry of life everywhere

Thank you Ben. Point well taken. Too bad some of our journalists in the various media are not as keen as you in exposing this false self-promoting fake voices that can only bring some of us to ruin. Please keep your messages flowing loud and clear and hope that many of us will reflect accordingly.

Watch your blood pressure Beno. I call you Beno because I am Australian and every name needs to be shortened and end in the letter O. I love your work. It's insightful and informative, and over the last few videos, it seems stressful. Keep well and best wishes, Stevo.

Thanks for the report. There's an online advertisement here in Pattaya claiming this company can help you with your personal tax reporting. I'm not aware of anything I should do regarding taxes in Thailand. I'm retired for a few years already and have met the requirements ie money in the bank.

Then don't ..... until you know 100% and don't believe any Thai tax policies discussed on youtube ...... been seeing these videos on and off for over a year and it is all just speculation ... even now as of today ....

If the country you are from has a Foreign tax credit agreement with Thailand, you shouldn't have to pay tax on money you transfer in as it has already been paid in your home country. Don't worry about this tax talk until it becomes rule.

I’m confused, who is Ben talking about breaking the law?
