I was a private live in caregiver for many years. I was a able to save so much money! There is such a need. One job I noticed and thought I might look into is a store merchandise stocker. I'm a Realtor & it's not really a part-time career, BUT we always need assistants. So, look for a busy team or company & help with doing their Open Houses, or their day to day operations. You may decide you enjoy real estate & want to look for a new career path.
@RetirementTransformed16 күн бұрын
That's great advice! Working as an assistant can give you a taste of the real estate world without the full-time commitment.
@Teal_Seal10 күн бұрын
I heard you need to have a RE license to be an assistant. Or maybe that’s just in my area…
@mtngrl585910 күн бұрын
@@Teal_Seal It depends on what you do. If I have an Open House for the public and if I have an unlicensed assistant they are limited on what they can say. They can give a flyer to a prospective Buyer, but they can't offer any real information about the home. They can place signs out, serve food or beverages at an OH, help clients with signing in to the Open House. If they are hosting without a licensed agent being present, they can take down information on questions that the prospective Buyer has & the agents can follow up. Personally, I want a licensed agent at all my OH, but I'm just answering your question. Usually when I list a home, I have extra keys at the office. So, an unlicensed assistant can access the home and make sure there are plenty of flyers at the home. They can also pick up business cards to see who has shown the home. They can make calls on behalf of the agent to get an update from other's agents re what their clients felt about the home. They can speak with lenders to be updated on the loan process. There are lots of admin roles in real estate, update the listing, doing promotional marketing on SM. Also meeting with inspectors at the property if repairs need to be made. Of course, one doesn't need to be licensed to do staging of the home. There are so many details in real estate.

This wouldn’t work in the UK - you can’t choose your hours and you can’t get into freelancing based on skills, only qualifications, so no matter how skilled and talented you are you won’t get anywhere. There is going to be an enormous need for re- education help. Not sure what it will look like. But so much of the education system has been propaganda and lies, for those under 50, that as America is being reborn (and many other nations), educating people on truth will be needed. I am attending university in my late 40’s, early 50’s. I have been horrified at what is being taught. I have been in a blue state and a red state and the education is sadly very similar. I am often the only one who will question the crazy info being propagated. Many younger professors cannot get what I bring up because they are products of this purposeful system.
