Any activity done consistently for 30 days, becomes a habit at the subconscious level

Great Video and information…. Mark mentioning Manero’s in Greenwich Ct took me back to my corporate lunch/diner days. It was their garlic bread and Gorgonzola salad that made the meal. That being said we never eat either in retirement, but simply and very healthy. Hydration has been our big focus truly important. Thank you!

Yes the good old days. I sometimes wonder what I would look like, how I would feel, and what my health would be if I ate like I do now and with all my other habits back then. All we can do now is change and do the best we can. We both feel great with the changes we have made and encourage others to do the same. Thanks for leaving this comment.

Planning to retire in few years and finding ways to fill the time. I joined Gym and find it quite strenuous, weight training, yoga and swimming. Each causes some isssue like muscle ache, head ache with swimming. How to gain strength to do these things consistently
@RetirementTransformed3 ай бұрын
It's great that you're staying active! Start slow and gradually build up your strength and endurance. Listening to your body and allowing time for recovery can make a big difference. Maybe consult with a trainer or coach to create a balanced routine that works for you. Keep going, and it will get easier!

That’s great. Anything that makes you move and build muscle is what we all need. Finding that you love it is such a bonus and gift to yourself.

Iam in my 60s and just think about retirement I do jujitsu and judo each 2 days a week but I don't know what I will do with my time in a small town don't really know anyone I do have a self defense class and I have animals I raise just a little scared of retirement
@RetirementTransformed3 ай бұрын
It’s completely normal to feel a bit uncertain about retirement, especially when you’ve been so active! It’s great that you have your martial arts and self-defense classes to keep you engaged. Maybe retirement could be an opportunity to explore new hobbies, volunteer, or connect with others who share your interests. You’ve got so much to offer-your small town is lucky to have you! 🥋🐾😊

Staying driven is a maladaptive coping mechanism . Its staying authentic to the values you are that makes you creative that one should progress into

You have X spouses - you say the children are yours. What about the X spouses and their feelings/ issues with you both
@RetirementTransformed6 ай бұрын
I believe we have done a very good job of including our X spouses in our family. They are both involved in major decisions for our respective children and included in holiday gatherings. Thank you for asking this question. We work hard at this always putting the children first.
