@@beastabuelos6421 According to Lucas they had the same potential, but Anakin’s was permanently capped at under 50% because of his anger and lust for power during that fateful duel in Mustafar. With Luke, it was only his missing hand that capped him from the full potential. Leia had no handicap, just her divided priorities that stood in the way of realizing her full potential. But of the three, only Luke would go on to achieving nearly the full potential of the Chosen One, becoming the most powerful Force user, or at least Jedi in history, becoming what Anakin (who could’ve become twice as powerful than Palpatine) could not. That’s according to Lucas.

@@beastabuelos6421 His lost limbs, then burns and the king (LUNG!) damage made him dependent on the suit. The suit and the corruption in the Darkside in turn prevented any meaningful healing. He became half machine and machines have no connection to the Force. So in a way, yes, the suit capped his full potential to 50%. But what I find odd is that how losing 50% of your connection to the Force takes from the possibility of becoming twice as powerful as someone else (Palpatine), to maxing out at 20% less powerful than that same someone else (Palpatine). Especially when the Force is like a muscle, the more that you use it, the stronger it becomes, since while the Jedi employ restraint which slows that progression, the Sith have no restrictions. So I gotta assume that it has to do with self-mastery. In part, the Jedi award the rank of Master to those that not only have shown mastery over their Force abilities, but also over themselves. Self-mastery is also what separates Sith Masters from the rest. It was something that Palpatine called Vader out on even in the original trilogy. So despite still possessing 50% of his potential full connection to the Force, I have to assume that Anakin/Vader was never fully able to master his emotions and his focus, and that further blocked him from reaching his full potential.

I would say Anakin when he was on Mortis when he saved Obi-Wan & Ahsoka from the Son & Daughter of Mortis at the same time. The sequel movies didnt seem to continue the jedi legacy in the way I imagined at all. The Jedi's "victory" and evolution was about force ghosts, Luke had Obi-wan, Yoda and his father watching over him and giving guidance when he needs literally from the Living Force itself. I dont feel like Luke could have gone astray and give up on everything because he trained Kylo Ren and felt responsible. The Force ghosts were barely relevant and it basically was a Yoda cameo. Where was obi-wan? Qui-gon? Anakin? They would have just been better off killing luke if they had to have new main characters

I hope they do a Clone Wars like show that contextualizes everything between the OG trilogy and the Sequel trilogy. I'd love to see Luke fight against Thrawn and the Imperial remnants, become crazy powerful integrating most of his Legends power, see him start his academy and rebuild a new Jedi Order, and watch him develop a second-father-like closeness with his Padawan nephew Ben Solo, watch Ben's gradual fall to the Dark Side and the profound effect it has on Luke to the point that he rejects it all in his despair and cuts himself off from the Force to live in seclusion. Meanwhile the First Order rises from the shadows, Palpatine's cloning efforts progress in secret, and we get to meet his "son" and son's wife who end up on the run from the Emperor with thier young daughter, who they heartbreakingly have to leave leave behind to keep her safe in the end before they're tragically killed. It's all great material for a multi-season show or two, similarly dark like Clone Wars was as it lead up to Order 66. I think Filoni might be able to pull it off, or pass the torch to someone who could, like Lucas did with him.

Force Passive users shouldn't be able to Manipulate force outside their bodies & hence used it inside their bodies to achieve:- (1) Augemented to Superhuman Strength, Speed & Senses (2) Reject effects of Force Telepathy (3) Manipulate elements within their body for different boosts in abilities Mandolerians should've mastered the Force Passive techniques to extreme limit to the level that almost every Mandelorian Warrior was able to exhibit Enhanced Human Strength. Luke was a stud. He was the most mostest. He was the hero of an 11 year old boy who had never seen anything like Star Wars. I'll always be a Luke and Kenobi super fan. It's funny for me to listen to the Star Wars channels. Most of you guys are pretty young( especially compared to me ) you can tell what type of fan people are concerning Star Wars by how they refer to the first movie. Do they call it a New Hope or Star Wars, and no the first was not the prequels it was Star Wars. I'm not saying the younger fans are any less fans than the old, very old fans like me. I got to see the movies in the proper order starting with #4 which was Star Wars. I'm just having some fun I'm not looking for a fight. The greatest thing about George's universe is that it is special to each person in there own way. We can argue this point or that point we can loath Kathkeen Kennedy or we can just have 100s of darts in her picture every where our lady will let us hang another one because we stopped and bought more darts and a voodoo doll that has her actual hair I wonder if she's been having very sharp pains lately. I love Star Wars all 6 movies and the TV shows kinda. I must have a fondness cuz I still pay for Disney. All that said Luke was the most powerful, drop the mic walk off the stage. I don't know about you.... But....at the 2:15 point the narrator specifically states that Luke was "fatally wounded".. Again I don't know about you, If one is fatally wounded...death is the result.. What he really should have said "Luke was seriously injured " Which is a more realistic approach to Luke healing himself in this sci-Fi explanation. Just say'n....

In a way legends Luke was more of the chosen one kinda, because he brought the light back to the galaxy and he was able to overcome the darkness. I mean it couldn't have been possible without Anakin, but I mean Luke was the Jedi that was always meant to be.

He's basically what Anakin would have been if he reached his potential though Anakin would have been a teir higher. Luke is the embodiment of that potential though. Luke was more studied and insisted of slacking because he knew he was more powerful than anyone else he worked and trained as much as possible and actually reached that potential Anakin never did.

The criticism of Luke in EU/Legends being over powered *might* be valid but even if you put power levels aside, Luke just gets to do more and BE more in that continuity which is in a lot of ways just more fun. In the sequels he fails, f***s off, then dies from force-timing his nephew too hard. I mean the idea that his legend kind of becomes an idea that rallies people in the Galaxy is cool (though they don’t really expand on that past broom boy) and in that sense at least I can appreciate it. ..but so much of the man is diminished in the process. They redeemed this a bit with the ending of Mando’ Season 2 but he’s still gonna end up in the same place. Really the biggest problem I see is that in the Sequels is Luke is treated very much as the last of the old when he was supposed to be the first of the new.
