Retraining to be an Electrician - What Routes Can Get me Qualified

I talk to Craig Gifford of Giffords Electrical about retraining as an adult to become an electrician, starting a KZbin channel, family, recovering from cancer and Star Wars. Craig talks frankly about the challenges of retraining as an adult whilst having a young family.

Great story it’s very important in life to enjoy your job. My journey into the electrical industry was not plain sailing being written off from teachers I left with nothing and went into the motor trade then after 10 years retrained as a Sparkie and now I run my own construction company with a new KZbin channel which I started to help me with my anxiety through lockdown and I am loving it. For someone who is "no kit Gaz" with a camera phone, you don't do a bad job. I think you hit the nail on the head regarding retraining and students it is getting the on-site training to go with the classroom learning, with Craig he had some practical experience of working in someone's house lifting floorboards etc. prior to coming into the trade.
