Who else thinks melee is easy? I am not saying they win all the time. What I am saying is they require a lower skill cap. Strategy: Chase, CC and kill. Casting all ways puts you in danger, allowing melee to clear gap, unless you can CC.

Well, tell that to a warrior who is fighting a frost mage. I personally think melee have it a little bit harder. No gap closer or cd = gg. Moreover you have to manage your swing timer. Also in the open world casters always have a better way of initiating a fight. Although I think ultimately it comes down to the specific class match up and individual skill/how to read situations. (In some fights casters also might only spam gcds, f.e. mage vs. hunter).
