Your work on restoring these is unbelievable. Everything is sharp, crisp and clear. I don't know of your source tapes are this clear or if you used AI here, in which case, you deserve a shipload of credit for utilizing it to restore these commercials!

I had a good batch of those tapes from 1979 that were recorded on very good quality tape and stored well. The 70s commercial blocks weren't upscaled with AI.

19:26: 1,400 watts, enough to blow a fuse when used in a typical midwestern outlet if someone else was doing such daring things as using a fan AND a radio on the same circuit! NOW that's POWER. (Was around in the '70s, AMA).

New technology always costs more, and it was probably manufactured in the US. One thing that has actually changed for the better because technology is more affordable. The problem is that tech is manufactured in China by slave labor.

It took ALL FIVE of us kids (teens) to buy my mother a Microwave Oven for Christmas in 1975. Today they are as disposable as a Bic lighter! The ONE thing that's the same in 2023 as 1975? The Bic lighter!
